Naiara de la Puente
Diploma of superior studies (Accordion Professor) at the Conservatory of Jesus Guridi in Vitoria with Ricardo Llanos. Accordion bachelor in pedagogy in the School of Music of the Basque Country (Musikene) with Iñaki Alberdi. Master of Music at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki with Marjut Tynkkynen. Postgraduate at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Geir Draugsvoll. She is currently pursuing the PhD program at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki.
She won first prizes in the “Certamen Nacional de Arrasate”, “V Concurso Instrumental Sant Anastasi”, “Grand Prix de Andorra” and “Certamen Internacional Jóvenes Intérpretes Pedro Bote”.
Solo concerts in Austria, Denmark, Finland and Spain (“Quincena Musical”, “XIII Festival Internacional de Música Electroacústica”, “Matinées” de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Euskadi”, ”Festival Internacional de Segovia”, “Festival Internacional Isaac Albéniz”...).
She has collaborated with the magazine "Acordeón Siglo XXI" writing and collaborating with several articles on the accordion repertoire.
Member of Krater Ensemble and SMASH ensemble; she often collaborates with artists from other artistic disciplines such as Rax Rinnekangas and with young composers in the creation and promotion of new works for accordion.
Recipient of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, Provincial Council of Alava and Fundación Caja Madrid.
