Lola Díez Marcos


Born in Madrid. After completing her studies in oboe at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid with Juan Carlos Báguena and Cayetano Castaño she moved to Salzburg, where she continued her studies with Stefan Schilli and Isabella Unterer. Later she received a grant from the City of Madrid for a Master Degree at Amsterdam’s Koninkiljk Conservatorium focused mainly on the interpretation of contemporary music with Professor Ernest Rombout. She has received classes from Francois Leleux, Maurice Bourge, Emmanuel Abhul, Dale Clevenger, etc. Has collaborated with orchestras including the Madrid Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of Castilla y León, Amsterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, amongst others.

She has performed with various chamber music groups with which she has recorded for television and performed live for the RNE (National Radio of Spain)

Since 2009 she is professor of oboe at the Conservatory of Music in Valladolid.
